The club itself began in 1992 with the formation of a football team〔 and the joining of a local football league.〔 The cricket team was established in 1994, women's football in 2002 and netball in 2004.〔 It has since grown to host several sports teams and attracted support for charitable fundraising from artist Banksy, who played in goal in the '90s and toured with the club to Mexico in 2001.〔 The club has around 150 sports players.〔 The club's home is ''The Plough'' on Easton Road.〔 The club celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2012 with an international tournament at Berrow, Somerset, and hopes to have its own home ground in the future.〔 Two longstanding members have written a book about the club's history.〔
